Sometimes life can get a little MESSY… The good news is Jesus loves messy people!

What can students entering Pre-K and Kindergarten expect at VBS 2025?

We are so excited to be offering a new opportunity for those students four years of age through entering Kindergarten! We know that rotations can be a bit overwhelming for our youngest VBS participants, therefore we have designed something to specifically meet the needs of these little ones. Students will join us for our whole group opening each night but will then report to our classroom where all of the VBS action will be delivered right to them. At the end of the night the littles will close out the evening in the sanctuary for our closing shenanigans. Don’t worry they won't miss a second of fun and will be just as messy at pick up as their older friends!

This week will be VERY MESSY, so we recommend students wear clothing that is okay getting messy or even ruined!

Monday
"Why is the world such a messy place?"

Scripture: Genesis 3 - Adam and Eve

We will be fizzling with fun as we kick off the week with science, finding out what happened when sin was added to an otherwise calm world using sensory bins and a bit of creative fun as the littles get crafty!

Dress Up Theme: Mismatch Monday
Have you been looking for the perfect occasion to wear that purple and orange plaid shirt with those green and yellow striped shorts? If so, then this is your day!

Tuesday
"How does Jesus respond to our messes?"

Scripture: Mark 10 - Rich Young Ruler

Jesus loves a good mess! No matter how messy you are, Jesus loves you. It's laundry day! The littles will be collecting all of the laundry left around by Marvin, with a fun twist of course! After they collect their shirts they will get to decorate them!

Dress Up Theme: Technicolor Tuesday
Show off your favorite color by wearing it from head to toe! Together, we’ll make up a super bright rainbow of awesomeness!

Wednesday
"How should we respond to our messes?"

Scripture: Luke 18 - A Sinner's Prayer

Confess your mess! Jesus wants us to be honest about our sin, and our need for Him. Our littles will love an obstacle course, just their size. Then, they will use unconventional tools to paint a canvas to be displayed at our messy night of family fun!

Dress Up Theme: Wrinkled Wednesday
Don’t touch that ironing board! How will you make sure your clothes are wrinkled to perfection? Will you crumple them up and shove them under your bed? Will you sleep in them?

Thursday
"What does Jesus do about our messes?"

Scripture: Luke 15 - Prodigal Son

Address your mess! Our sin can only be addressed by the grace of Jesus. It's water play day! Our little ones will enjoy water activities and other outdoor fun to wrap up our instructional days.

Dress Up Theme: Themeless Thursday
We will provide each child with a plain white T-shirt, but we are pretty sure we will find a way to brighten things up!

Friday
"What does Jesus do about other people's messes?"

Scripture: Memory Verse!

Bring the whole family for a messy night of family fun on Friday July 18th starting at 5:45 as we wrap up our weeklong festivities. You won’t want to miss this night, because someone is taking a trip to the slime station!

Dress Up Theme: VBS Shirt
Wear your decorated VBS shirt on family fun night!
